Closing off one of two route is causing excessive traffic temporary route and light is poorly designed
There is no work taking place on the closed entrance and exit But yet they’ve taken Two entry and exit to one

These works are part of a major scheme for Bow Roundabout. Due to the extensive nature of the works some distruption is expected however the traffic management is in line with TfL guidelinesThank you for taking the time to report this to us. Thank you for your report. I confirm that the roadworks you have reported are part of ongoing works to provide a new road layout at Bow Roundabout. The lane closures are required to provide safe working areas for our workforce and given the works have only recently commenced, the areas where you observed no obvious works being undertaken were in the process of having surveys undertaken in preparation for excavations. While we expect some level of impact from the works due to a reduction in lane capacity, we have installed traffic signals that use computer control so we can adjust the signals remotely and run signal strategies that allow the efficient movement of traffic. I apologise for any delays you have experienced, and I ask that you bear with us while we complete these essential improvement works which will increase traffic capacity and reduce delays in the future.
