Dangerous Loose Paving Slab - safety issue
Reported via mobile in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category anonymously at 20:40, Tue 22 October 2024
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6647262.
Tower Bridge side of London Bridge, heading South around mid-way point.
The paving slab is loose in the ground & when somebody steps on the right side, it raises the left of the stone.
This happened to me approx 1730 on 17/10/24 (CCTV should corroborate). I fell and was helped by a member of the public and I have received these injuries.
This was reported on 16/10/24 by somebody else on ref FMS6625068 but nothing was done about it. I updated same ticket but have heard nothing back. I can see the same issue raised in 2023 on ref FMS4622209 where it resulted in another person being injured.
I would like to log this as a complaint as I heard no feedback from my ticket update hence logging a new ticket. This urgently needs to be fixed as thousands cross this bridge and are at risk. I would like to be updated on this matter.
