Faulty

Reported via mobile in the General Fault category anonymously at 10:36, Fri 8 November 2024

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6708777.

There appears to be a sensor that activates the change of light from red to green for cars to pass but the sensor does not activate if the car is not positioned correctly so at times I have been kept at the light on red for 10 minutes. I believe the sensitivity and range of the sensor needs to be looked into.

  • We thank you for contacting us regarding the signals at the junction of Abbey Road / Mitre Road / Leywick Street and are sorry to hear that you have had a poor experience with their operation.

Transport for London have investigated the matter and found an issue with the configuration of the signal timings at the junction. This has been rectified and the signals now seem to be operating as intended, with green signal time provided to the Abbey Road cul-de-sac approach as and when demanded.

Please let us know if you experience any further issues with the signals at this junction.

    State changed to: Fixed
