  • This is still an issue and causing tail backs both ways. Can not believe this has been reported several times previously and has still not been fixed.

  • This was still a problem this morning, causing a 1 mile tailback to before the Breakspear Road turning. It is inconveniencing 100s of drivers, particularly in the morning 07.30 to 08.30. Please place it on a higher priority to fix (permanently…. As this has happened several times since these lights were installed for the (very) occasional horse rider crossing between the woods.

  • This fault is recurrent, creates severe delays and poses a significant risk. All previous “repairs” have failed. The root cause has obviously never been determined. I would be very disappointed if anyone is being paid for such work.

  • This issue persists and, during rush hour, is causing significant delays on an A road. Please use the funding provided by the public purse to rectify the issue permanently.

  • Lights constantly changing to red. Ongoing problem. Traffic queues back to Ruislip at 7.20a.m.

  • Still a problem this morning (8th January). It would be better to just turn the lights off until a repair can be completed. It is a pedestrian/horse crossing. At this time of year maybe 6 pedestrians/horses per day vs 100s & 100s of cars!!

  • As previous comment, these lights should be turned off until they can be fixed properly. These lights are causing chaos leading to substantial traffic build up on Ducks Hill/Breakspear Rd/Bury St. The timing is such that they are red against the traffic for longer than they are green.

  • Issue was resolved but it has returned again this afternoon.

  • Hopeless! Today the lights were causing a 1 mile queue back towards Ruislip as far as Park Avenue!! So the “fix” only lasted one day!! Please turn the lights off until you can find a permanent solution
