Traffic lights keep turning to red

Reported via mobile in the General Fault category anonymously at 08:20, Saturday 11 January 2025

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6964343.

Our address is : 200 Leatherhead road, KT92HU and in front of our house the traffic lights are broken, keep turning to red even there are no pedestrians to press the button for crossing the road. The cars needs to stop every minute and the green light for pedestrians are wrong timing. It's a busy road and many kids crossing this road during school time, including my son as well which can be dangerous if there is not plenty of time for crossing the road.

Updates

  • The pedestrian traffic light has still not been fixed. It turns to red every minute and stays on red for 30 seconds even though there are no pedestrians. This is causing huge congestion on Leatherhead Road both ways and massively increasing pollution level.
