Traffic lights are all out - hazardous crossing
Reported via desktop in the All out category anonymously at 08:23, Thursday 16 January 2025
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS6987454.
Dear TfL Team,
The traffic lights on London Road by Pollards Hill North are all out and the crossing is not functional. This is a major hazard as the crossing is used by a lot of children and elderly people who live on Pollards Hill North and West who rely on this crossing to access the 109 and 60 bus stops as well as local services including Tesco, the laundromat, and local shops.
Children will cross in an unsafe manner due to the heavy usage of this crossing and elderly people who live nearby and rely on this crossing are having to take long detours. This has a significant impact on their mobility.
This creates a significant hazard and negative quality of life impact for the local community and should be fixed urgently.
Many thanks
