Cracked & Uneven Slabs
Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category anonymously at 11:50, Monday 20 January 2025
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS7004820.
These slabs were reported on 5 occasions in 2024 and repaired but clearly poorly as you can see they are now uneven, cracked and sticking up causing a trip hazard again. Can you perhaps ask contractors to repair to a better standard than putting a new piece in on some fresh sand hoping it will hold. Its needs cementing in to create an effective repair.
