Pedestrian lights too quick

Reported via mobile in the Safety concern (traffic or pedestrian) category anonymously at 11:08, Friday 24 January 2025

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS7026112.

The pedestrian signal ie “the green man” timing is extremely low (or about 2 seconds) for crossings to take place on the crossing of Lansbury and Balmoral drive in Hayes. There are two schools either side of these roads and young children who cross here. The timing needs to be stretched to allow people to safely cross over. I would also request that the same LED number lights which shows how many seconds are remaining to cross which have been installed on the crossroad further up between Lansbury Drive and Kingshill Avenue be replicated at this junction as well. Thank you.
