Problem report closed without explanation

Reported via desktop in the Safety concern (traffic or pedestrian) category anonymously at 12:25, Thursday 6 February 2025

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS7095657.

I raised FMS6781188 concerning pedestrian traffic lights. Yesterday I followed up to say that the problem was still not fixed. The problem has now been closed without a decent explanation. Did the investigator find that the problem did not exist as detailed or is it intended operation? I believe the current operation to be dangerous as pedestrians and cyclists do not always press the crossing button but expect to cross when the traffic is stopped.
