Dead fox

Reported via desktop in the Dead animal in the carriageway or footway category anonymously at 14:17, Thursday 6 February 2025

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS7096482.

Hello I’m writing to report that there is a dead animal-think it might be a fox- on A243 Leatherhead Road outside my property:365 Leatherhead Road KT9 2NQ. I would move it but I’d be taking my life in my hands on this busy road. I would be very grateful if a small team or someone could come and remove the dead animal. Thank you

  • Hello, I've noticed that traffic is queueing a lot on the Leatherhead Road, northbound and southbound, when I travel via that route. I've also seen the traffic lights turn red quite quickly, stopping the flow of traffic, compared with the horizontal flow via Fairoak Lane and Rushett Lane. I wanted to ask about phasing of the lights to favour the flow of heavier traffic, to allow for less congestion northbound and southbound. Thanks for considering.
