Garbage Accumulation Complaint - 798 East Rochester Way, DA15 8PF
Reported via desktop in the Debris in the carriageway category anonymously at 17:40, Friday 7 February 2025
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS7102589.
Dear Sir/Madam,
Local council advised to contact TFL.
I am writing to bring to your attention a serious environmental and safety concern at 798 East Rochester Way, DA15 8PF.
There is a significant accumulation of garbage along the fence of A2 in front of my house. During adverse weather conditions, particularly on windy or rainy days, this waste is blown onto our front walkway, creating hazardous conditions for pedestrians.
This situation is particularly concerning as I have young children who regularly use the front entrance. I frequently have to clear away dangerous items such as glass bottles and cans to ensure their safety. This poses an unacceptable risk to both my children and other residents in the area.
I kindly request your immediate attention to this matter to:
1. Remove the existing garbage accumulation 2. Implement measures to prevent future waste build-up 3. Conduct regular street cleaning in this area
Please treat this as a priority matter as it presents both environmental and safety hazards to our community.
I look forward to your prompt response and action regarding this issue.
I have reached out to local Council. Following is reply from them.
