Pothole Blackfriars Underpass
Reported via desktop in the Pothole (major) category anonymously at 11:47, Wednesday 19 February 2025
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS7156506.
It is hard to pin point exactly but on the Blackfriars underpass going westbound towards the top of the upwards slope, on the very left before the traffic lights is a pothole beside a drain over a foot square and several inches deep with sharp edges. It is getting increasingly worse and I think it could do some real damage to a car or particularly be dangerous for motorbike or bike as it is very deep and the parallax as you approach it from below means it is pretty hard to see until it is too late to avoid
