No pedestrian crossing at busy junction

Reported via desktop in the Safety concern (traffic or pedestrian) category anonymously at 20:35, Sunday 23 February 2025

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS7176593.

There is no pedestrian crossing a cross the junction of plumstead Road and petmans crescent. Temporary lights have been installed, I suspect to cover for faulty lights, but there is no pedestrian crossing as part of this set up.

This is extremely unsafe. Plumstead Station and the surrounding bus stops on either side of the road are very busy. People are having to dash across the road without any controlled crossing.

I find it unbelievable that TfL would not prioritise pedestrian safety at such a busy interchange.

Please re install controlled pedestrian crossings before someone gets hurt or worse.

Thanks.
