Massive pothole

Reported via desktop in the Pothole (major) category anonymously at 21:43, Wednesday 12 March 2025

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS7270023.

Pothole when turning onto A10 from Latymer way. It is spread across both lanes and is very dangerous to cars on the road and I can feel every bump in the car. If this can be fixed as soon as possible please.

  • HI, some info that may affect what action has been scheduled to fix these potholes. Latymer Way joins the A10 at a point where there is a small bend in the A10, which means that vehicles joining the A10 from Latymer Way turn left at a greater than 90 degree angle causing additional wear and tear on the road surface. The junction may benefit from an easing of the angle of joining the A10. This is made worse every week as the large waste collection trucks join the A10 from Latymer Way and have to turn sharply, and possibly more quickly to deal with oncoming traffic and staying in the left hand A10 lane. These are massive trucks! I live in Latymer Way, about 50m from the A10 and can clearly hear vehicles hitting the pothole edges all night long. The worst noise comes from large trucks that have metallic bodies as they sound like a drum when going in and out of the pothole for each wheel!
