  • Dear Transport for London,

I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding the recent signage changes implemented at Corner HighRoad A10 & Broad Ln. Specifically, I am referring to the replacement of the previously prominent red "No Right Turn" sign with a less conspicuous blue "Straight Only" sign.

I find this change, coupled with the immediate installation of camera enforcement, to be deeply troubling and, in my opinion, patently unfair to drivers.

The removal of a clearly visible red prohibitory sign, which drivers are conditioned to recognize instantly, creates a significant opportunity for confusion. The subsequent placement of a camera to capture drivers who naturally assume the restriction has been lifted feels like a deliberate attempt to generate revenue at the expense of driver clarity and understanding.

This practice appears to prioritize financial gain over clear and safe traffic management. It creates a situation where drivers are essentially being penalized for reacting to the removal of a long-standing and easily understood traffic restriction.

I urge TfL to reconsider this approach to signage changes. Clear, unambiguous signage is essential for road safety. The current situation at [Location] is, in my view, both confusing and unfair.

I hope TfL will take my concerns seriously and address this issue promptly.
