Westbound traffic on High Street for northbound turn into Ealing Road

Reported via mobile in the General Fault category anonymously at 20:59, Sunday 16 March 2025

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS7287912.

Lights for traffic turning left into Ealing Road regularly gets stuck at a red light which misses it’s turn in the sequences. It seems that the traffic is detected by a small box connected to the lights. When traffic is detracted a small red light is visible. If the first vehicle to approach the lights is short of the line or slightly to the left it is not detected and the traffic is held at red.

No immediate safety issue but some cars are switching lanes to avoid intermittent fault.
