Planting area paved over - tree has not been replaced

Reported via mobile in the Damage - general (Trees) category by Madi Edwards at 18:17, Thursday 27 March 2025

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS7349059.

As you will see from your records, this tree was knocked down in February 2024 and we were told following our complaint to TfL that this tree would be replaced in spring this year. This was also followed up by GLA member Joanne McCartney who advised that TfL also confirmed the replacement tree would be replanted in Spring 2025. You will however see that TfL have covered the planting area and paved over this. It is now the perfect time in the season to replant this tree, please can you confirm when this tree will be replaced? Greening and tree planting forms part of the various Mayor of London initiatives (Healthy streets, Trees for London and Green Infrastructure and Biodiversity strategy). I look forward to receiving your response and confirmation of timescales for replanting
