There are several loose Manhole Covers in the stretch of the A12 between Bromley-by-Bow tube station and The Bow Flyover.

The loose Manhole Covers on the A12 between Bromley-by-Bow and Bow Flyover are loose. There are three or four Manhole Covers and the noise is constant and distruptive. I suffer with hyper tension and the repetitive noise is making life very difficult.

Thank you for taking the time to report this to us. It is much appreciated. This has been investigated and we have now referred it to our contractors. If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within two hours. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date. If it is owned by another company this will be passed to them for a permanent repair.
