Pedestrian crossing turns green for 10 seconds

Reported via mobile in the Pedestrian wait button not working category anonymously at 14:45, Saturday 26 April 2025

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS7485114.

The traffic lights at the bottom of Gravel Hill don’t seem to be turning red for pedestrians crossing. Myself, my dog, partner and baby nearly got mowed down by 2 cars going through when the pedestrian light was green. Concerned that the light isn’t turning red when the pedestrian turns green as this happened again very shortly after

  • One of the pedestrian buttons for the crossing towards the park does not work, when the button is pressed nothing happens, the other button does however work. This is the set of traffic lights closest to the park and the faulty button is on the left (furthest away from you when you approach the lights
