Dangerous crossing lacks pedestrian signals

Reported via mobile in the Safety concern (traffic or pedestrian) category anonymously at 13:33, Sunday 27 April 2025

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS7487911.

This crossing is on a heavy traffic road. Not only are there no pedestrian signals, but seeing if it is safe to cross requires looking all the way across the adjacent large junction to try and see if the traffic signals are red or green. It encourages crossing at the wrong time (just watch people using it) and puts vulnerable pedestrians at significant risk. I tried reporting this at least a couple of years ago, first to Haringey, who told me it was your responsibility as a red route, but the person who responded when my request was sent to you said that Haringey had to do it. Please don't pass me from pillar to post this time. We need a safe crossing here. Thank you.
