Location: 195 Kingston Road, SW19 3NG. Between the tram stops Dundonald Road and Merton Park, the tram tracks cross Kingston Road and there are pedestrian lights on each side of the road. These lights should become red only when trams are approaching, however, sometimes they also become red when no tram is coming. I think these lights are synchronised with the pelican crossing a few metres down Kingston Road, but there’s no reason for that. Can you check if the timings for these lights are correct? If people get used to lights becoming red unnecessarily, they may start to ignore them, which can lead to a fatality one day.
