Replacing drain on the corner of trinity road and Nottingham road
TfL ref: FMS7658771.
Roadworks with drilling, jackhammers, saws, etc. started at 23:06. I understand some works need to be done at hours when there are less traffic but why this couldn’t be done at 19:00 when the traffic died down I do not understand. This is a residential area and we all have to be up for work, myself at 04:00 and I work for the emergency services and now other people are at risk by my lack of sleep. This has happened multiple times in the past few months for minor issues such as drain replacements which did not need to be done urgently that night. There are already temporary lights further along the road which has had traffic backed up to this junction and causing loud horns honking, shouting and drivers arguing all hours of the day and night which we’ve had to put up with as we understand the works need to be done in the day but this in addition is excessive.
