Loose manhole, fixed but immediately re-opened

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS7719473.
This manhole was reported multiple times for producing a loud clanking noise each time a vehicle passes over it. It was fixed by covering it up, as it can be seen from the first picture taken on 21/05/2025. However, just a few days later the cover was removed and the manhole is now as loud as before. The second picture was taken today.

If it is confirmed as a safety issue it will be made safe within two hours. If the manhole cover is owned by us, we will carry out a permanent repair at a later date. If it is owned by another company this will be passed to them for a permanent repair.
