Deep Pothole in pavement
Reported via desktop in the Pothole (major) category anonymously at 12:38, Saturday 5 July 2025
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS7812931.
Dear TfL Roadworks Team,
I am writing to raise an urgent safety concern regarding a deep pothole located directly in front of Tooting Broadway Bus Stop L. This pothole has been present for quite some time and poses a serious risk to pedestrians, particularly children and elderly individuals who frequently use this busy area.
There have already been incidents where people have tripped or fallen due to the depth and poor visibility of the pothole. Despite this issue being reported multiple times in the past, no visible action has been taken to repair it, and the condition appears to be worsening.
Given the high foot traffic around Tooting Broadway and the potential for serious injury, I strongly urge TfL to prioritise the immediate inspection and repair of this hazard before any further accidents occur.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope to see prompt action taken for the safety of all.
