Trees and bushes obstructing the path hindering pedestrian use

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown vegetation category anonymously at 11:47, Sunday 6 July 2025

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS7815780.

The trees and bushes from the neighbouring park area are encroaching on the pathway. This path is frequently used by pedestrians walking from Waverley Grove to the junction with Hendon Lane and Finchley Lane. The obstructions cause pedestrians to walk onto the uneven grass verge near the busy road, which is dangerous and could cause a serious accident. The pathway is, in principle, wide enough for 2-3 people to walk side-by-side but in most places it is restricted to only one person at most. The street sign is also obstructed which impacts road users. The greenery should be cut right back to the fence.
