Circular pothole (looks like inadequate reinstatement followin last autumn's road works)
Reported via desktop in the Pothole (major) category anonymously at 14:09, Wednesday 27 August 2025
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS8081026.
Poorly finished road surface following last autumn's SGN road works. Circular pothole (looks like an inadequately filled borehole), about 18 inches across, in middle of crossroads, slightly on London-bound side of the A217 and on the Sutton-bound side of the A2043. I seem to recall that this had been reported some time ago and SGN had been told to sort it out. If they had, they've totally ignored that instruction.
