Traffic lights not working with main lights

Reported via mobile in the Roadworks category anonymously at 08:42, Thursday 18 September 2025

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS8181133.

The roadworks are causing unnecessary delays as they are not working with the main lights at the Rushett crossroads. With temporary lights this close to a junction they should have disabled the main lights and put 4 way temporary lights in. Motorists are just ignoring the main lights at the moment on the lanes with no enforcement cameras and putting everyone in danger. There is a traffic light operator in his van at the roadworks who I presume is meant to be doing active traffic management during the rush hours but he is in his cab playing on his phone rather than controlling the lights.
