RTA damage to safety railings and street furniture

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect (uneven surface / cracked paving slab) category by Prakash Tanna at 06:28, Monday 22 September 2025

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS8195481.

There was an RTA at 5am on 21.09.25. A van smashed into the 'No Entry' sign and safety railings for pedestrians crossing the road. THe railing stick out onto the busy A41 - very dangerous and the 'No Entry' lampost sits horizontally across the pedestrian crossing - I severe and dangerous hazard to crossing the road. Impossible to cross using a buggy or wheelchair. Please attend ASAP and make safe. Other railing at the crossing on the A41 are still damaged and unsafe despite reporting a year ago. When will you fix them - after somebody is killed perhaps ?
