Road uneven/buckling at bridge joints - dangerous
Reported via desktop in the Pothole (major) category anonymously at 20:50, Tuesday 23 September 2025
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS8205278.
The A1 at Bunns Lane Bridge southbound has some very large buckles at the join where the road meets the bridge, I beleive the bridge is sinking!! Cars approach the bridge fast and then go flying in the air (genuinely) due to the uneven road surface. Please check it. Either a temporary speed restriction needs to be put in place whilst a fix is managed or the road needs to be shut before the bridge collapses down. Thank you
