Traffic lights are constantly changing to red every few minutes blocking the roundabout
Reported via Android in the Safety concern (traffic or pedestrian) category anonymously at 20:55, Thursday 25 September 2025
Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS8215126.
The pedestrian lights next to the yellow self storage and football place, are changing themselves to red every few seconds after changing to green, no one is crossing, but are constantly changing to red for less than a minute after being green, which is causing gridlock on the already very busy Clifftons Roundabout, and could easily cause an accident as traffic tries to push it way through.
Location: A20 Sidcup Road, just after the Junction of Eltham Palace Road. Travelling towards Mottingham. The lights on the other carriageway seem to be working alright.
