Previous Works Causing Cars to Make Noise

TfL ref: FMS8041389 - This issue was reported on Monday August 18th 2025 - TFL responded on the Friday August 22nd 2025 stating that a 'scheduled Action' has been issued for this issue to be addressed - On Saturday September 20th TFL updated this issue stating that the action has changed to 'fixed' - As of Saturday October 4th 2025 the scheduled action has not been fixed - Please see details of issue from original report of issue below - Thank you

My family and I live on a red route main road. To the left of my property there is visible uneven road surface from previous works. Please see attached pictures. Due to the surface being uneven when ever cars pass over it causes the cars to create a thumping noise from their suspension. I originally thought the noise was coming from the man whole outside my property but I was incorrect as the manhole has been changed. On closer inspection I can say with certainty that the deep thudding noise is being caused by the uneven surface as stated. I would like to say that this noise is causing my family and I and great deal of distress. It can be heard throughout our house and it is especially worse to the front of the property. It has been on going for some time and it is getting to point that we may have to move if the issue isn't resolved. We have tried our very hardest to over come it and live with the noise but it is impossible. Night time is particularly worse as it is generally quieter on the road that makes the noise more apparently, as a result it is almost impossible to sleep peacefully and get a full nights sleep.
