Faulty

Reported via desktop in the General Fault category anonymously at 12:14, Tuesday 7 October 2025

Sent to TfL less than a minute later. TfL ref: FMS8263453.

On 01/10/25 at approximately 1:30am, I waited through multiple full cycles of the lights (over six times). Other directions of traffic were repeatedly given a green signal, but the light for vehicles turning towards Tottenham Cemetery remained red throughout.

As a result, many vehicles began diverting away or proceeding with caution after being obstructed for so long. In my case, with traffic piling up behind me and no option to reverse, my only safe option was to proceed cautiously through the red signal after several cycles of waiting. The signal for my direction only turned green after I had already crossed the stop line.

This indicates that the lights may not be detecting vehicles correctly, or that there is a malfunction in the signal sequence. I kindly request that this junction be inspected and reviewed urgently, as the situation presents a significant safety risk to drivers.
